India has successfully launched the heaviest rocket in its own history into the space. India has launched the rocket from Shreeharikot near to the Bay of Bangal. After the successful launch of the rocket, Indian media stated that it was the greatest day for them in the their history. From now, Indian Space Research Organisation would not be depended to the European rocket for lunching its heaviest rocket into the space.
People say, the rocket weights equal to the aggregate weight of 5 jumbo jet and 200 elephants approximately.
It is said that it is very important for India which is struggling for increasing its market share in international rocket projection. Up to now India has to depend on other countries to launch its heavy rocket that costs a lot to ISRO (Indian Space Research Organizational).
The rocket named as GSLV Mark 3 can reach up to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit with carrying up to 3 ton weight.
Though it is heaviest rocket for India, it could make any world record. The heaviest rocket in the world is Saturn V, which is launched by NASA in between 1967 and 1973 AD. Saturn V weights 4 times more then the present Indian Rocket.
According to the Indian Space Scientist, this rocket will carry even space travelers to the space by the time 2024 AD.
India is willing to be fourth country for sending human being to the space after Russia, America, and Chaina.
It is remarkable that in recent days India has got a lot of success in the field of Space Science. At the begging of this year, India had launched 100 satellites into the space in single mission,
Mars Mission of India is also getting success now a days.
