Microsoft had announced to bring new version of Skype at 1st June of this year. According to its announcement, Microsoft finally launched Skype version 8.0 to its Android users.
Skype 8.0 can be downloaded from google play store.
This update will be available only for Android users at first. On the other hand, Microsoft is preparing to lunch its new Skype version also for IOS, Windows and Mac.
Studying the new version of Skype i.e. Skype 8.0, it can be concluded that Microsoft did a lot of work to challenge Instagram and Snap chat.
What are the new features of New Skype Version ?
There will be three tabs in new updated Skype app. These three tabs are "Chats", "Highlight" "Capture", and "Find" tabs.
Chat
Skype group chat is made very expressive after its redesign.
Now Skype's background can be changed as users' choice.
With the help of Skype's new version, you will get a lot of options to share your special events. Moreover, you can react to every message in your chat box as you do in Facebook messenger app.
Not only this, you can react while you are in video calling after updating your Skype app. You can do all this from "Chat" tab.
Highlight
With such feature, a new "Highlight" tab is added to Skype. With the help of highlight tab you can share to your contact by making a highlight rill.
Capture
With the help of "Capture" tab, you can share photo and video after capturing from this tab.
Find
Similarly, a new "Find" tab is also added to Skype. With the help of this tab, you can search matters from web. Where you can attach GIFs in chat box after searching in web from "Find" Tab.
